Nino es el único bailarín en la historia que ha sido galardonado con un premio Grammy, en 2020, por su contribución al disco “Antidote”, del maestro Chick Corea”
Nino de los Reyes comienza su carrera a la temprana edad de 9 años en el espectáculo “Campanas Flamencas” dirigido por Paco Sánchez, fundador de la mítica “Cumbre Flamenca” compartiendo escenario junto a grandes figuras del flamenco, tales como: Joaquín Grilo, Milagros Mengibar, La Tati, Antonio Reyes, y su propio hermano Isaac de los Reyes.
Desde muy joven empieza a ser parte de grandes compañías del flamenco como la de Eduardo Serrano “El Guito”, Carmen Cortes, Javier Barón entre otras.
Ha formado parte del elenco de artistas de Enrique Morente.
También ha trabajado con grandes artistas del panorama flamenco como: Pepe Habichuela, Josemi Carmona, Juan José Suárez “Paquete”, José María Bandera, Niño Josele, Jesús de Rosario, Juan Carmona, Ramon el Portugués, Miguel el Rubio, Montse Cortes, José Soto “Sorderita”, Rafael de Utrera, Jorge Pardo, Carles Benavent, Alain Pérez, Rubén Dantas, entre otros.
En el 2010 fue ganador de tres premios en el Certamen de coreografía de danza española y flamenco de Madrid con su espectáculo Origen. 1er premio a una coreografía de solo, premio a la “Joven promesa de flamenco” y premio a la mejor composición musical compuesta por Paco Cruz.
Recientemente fue invitado a participar en el tributo a Paco de Lucia “Beyond the Memory” compartiendo escenario con los miembros de la banda del maestro.
También es invitado por la leyenda viva del jazz, Chick Corea a participar en su 75 cumpleaños celebrado en el Blue Note de NY y actuando después en el Madison Square Garden de NY.
Más recientemente acaba de grabar el último álbum del maestro “Antidote” Chick Corea and The Spanish Heart Band, participando junto a grandes de la música como Rubén Blades. En este momento The Spanish Heart Band se encuentra de gira por Europa, pasando por algunos de los festivales más importantes del continente como: Montreux Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival o Love Supreme entre otros.
Cuenta con tres espectáculos propios, ORIGEN, INSIDE, y su más reciente creación, TIERRA dirigida por David Picazo.
